This twitter thread that went viral has taken "dog ate my homework" and raised it by 1000 to "cat ate my degree", and we think that there's a clear winner.
Imagine, working so hard and so long for this poor piece of paper and then your cat deciding that it's its new snack. I would probably be as upset as @mamblonumber5, or how he now calls himself "guy *whose cat ate his degree". His outraged and unintentionally hilarious tweet caused other twitter users to chime in as well, laughing as well as sharing pictures of their own pets eating their degrees. Even the university reached to him in a tweet, so there's a chance he might get another one of these precious papers.
Lesson learned: important papers shall be framed right away.
